Terms & Conditions – Design Engineering Inc.

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of products and services (“Products”) provided by Design Engineering Inc. ("we,” “us,” “DEI”or “our”). By placing an order or using our Products, you agree to these Terms.

  1. How To Order
    You may place an order by using our website, calling our toll-free telephone (800) 264-9472, or by emailing us at orders@designengineering.com.
  1. Orders & Acceptance
    All orders are subject to review and acceptance. We may refuse or cancel any order due to product availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or other business reasons.
  1. Pricing & Payment
    All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. DEI accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discovery, American Express, and PayPal. DEI Gift Certificates are valid for 5 years from date of issue for future purchases.
  1. Shipping & Delivery
    Most orders ship by UPS or FedEx. Some oversized items ship by truck freight. Additional charges for truck freight, including residential delivery, may apply. Priority shipping is available at an extra charge. We will ship to APO/FPO via US Postal Service. DEI ships worldwide, and all freight, duties, and taxes will be applied to your order in the cart. Please note that shipping times are estimated. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or events outside our control.
  1. Damaged Shipments
    All shipments should be inspected at the time of delivery. Damaged packages should be refused. If your damaged package was delivered by UPS, call 1 (800) 742-5877 to report the damage.
  1. Returns & Refunds
    We accept returns of unused, unopened products within 30 days of purchase with proof of purchase. A credit back to the original form of payment will be applied after the return is inspected. The original shipping cost and cost to return the product will not be reimbursed.
  1. Warranty
    DEI products are covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year. Contact DEI Customer Service for warranty issues.
  1. Limitation of Liability
    Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
  1. Product Use & Safety
    You agree to follow all installation instructions, warnings, and safety guidelines.

    DEI is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you interact with DEI.

    • Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, billing/shipping address, and other information you voluntarily provide when placing an order or signing up for our email list.
    • Payment Information: Payment details processed through our third-party payment processors. We do not store full credit card numbers.
    • Usage Data: Information automatically collected when you access our website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and interaction data.
    • Cookies & Tracking Technologies: We may use cookies and similar technologies to improve user experience, analyze site traffic, and support essential site functions.
