Turbo Shields
Turbo Shields provide the ultimate means of reducing turbo lag and serve as a superior heat barrier. Keeping more heat in the turbine and less damaging underhood radiant heat results in a boost in horsepower! Stronger and more durable than other turbo blankets or shields, DEI Turbo Shields are made from a hi-temp insulation under the tight outer layer for extra protection against extreme turbo-generated heat. All DEI Turbo Shields are double-stitched with stainless steel thread to hold up to the most extreme temps. True riveted anchor along with added seam protection for a stronger, more durable shield.

Turbo Application Guide
Measuring your turbo size
DEI Turbo shield sizes are based on two basic measurements. The first measurement is the circumference of the turbo not including the flange. The second measurement is the width of the turbo at it’s widest point not including the flanges. After measuring, refer to the chart below to find the correct shield.
Our T22 and T25/28 shields are designed for use on internally gated housings. They will have a cutout in the wastegate area to allow for a tight fitment.
