CryO2 is a revolutionary product designed to reduce air and fuel temperatures thus creating power. Through the science of aerodynamics and cryogenics, Design Engineering has developed a system to harness the cryogenic properties of liquid CO2 to lower the intake charge temperature by up to 50°F. The system is modular and can be easily expanded. The CryO2 system provides two methods for cooling the air charge and one for cooling fuel, all utilizing the same burst of liquid CO2. CryO2 Intercooler Water Sprayer Kit

NEW DESIGN! DEI’s CryO2™ Intercooler Water Sprayer Kit was designed to be used by itself or in conjunction with DEI’s CryO2™ Intercooler Sprayers as a way to supercool intercoolers. By wetting an intercooler’s surface with the Water Sprayer and then venting CO2 on the cooling fins, the intercooler is further chilled resulting in a cooler denser intake charge enhancing a vehicles performance for extended periods of time.

Each CryO2™ Intercooler Water Sprayer Kit comes complete with reservoir, mounting hardware, flexible hose lines, wiring, push button activation switch, nozzle tubes, connectors and installation instructions.


CryO2 Fuel Chilling System

Design Engineering's next generation method of chilling the temperature of fuel before entering the intake stream - the CryO² Fuel Chiller System!

The new CryO² Fuel Chiller System uses the cryogenic properties of liquid CO² to charge a series of internal cryogenic chambers surrounding the center "fuel" chamber. As the fuel passes through the center chamber, the cryogenic-charged chambers super cool the fuel by maximizing the thermal transfer process removing heat four times more effectively than any other system available today.

As the temperature of fuel is reduced it increases in density. The denser fuel results in better and more efficient burning of the fuel - consequently generating more power and greater fuel efficiency.

Under hood heat created by high pressure fuel pumps, headers, exhaust manifolds and other heat generating components all combine to raise the temperature of fuel and creates a potentially lean condition or “vapor lock” that can damage the engine.


CryO2 Adjustable Timer Switch

Now there's a way to control the flow of CO2 with a separate “On” and “Off” cryogenic Adjustable Timer Switch. Each control can be set from two tenths of a second up to 20 seconds offering numerous duration settings. Depending on the selected settings, a 10 lb. tank can last up to 60 minutes. Includes Timer Switch, wiring and connection terminals complete with installation instructions.

CryO2 Cryogenic Fuel Bar

The CryO2 Fuel Bar is a billet aluminum extension to the fuel line with a cryogenic chamber. The bar is charged with liquid CO2 and freezes to -80°F. Heat is removed from the fuel as it passes through resulting in a colder denser fuel charge. The CryO2 Fuel Bar is available in -6AN, -10AN and can be reduced for -8AN fuel line size. Four Cryo-Ports allow versatility of installation. Each Fuel Bar comes complete with vent plug, Cryo-Port plugs and connection/vent hose. The CryO2 Fuel Bar can be used alone or in conjunction with other CryO2 components.

The CryO2 patented* Air Intake consists of an aerodynamically designed bulb with a cryogenic chamber which is mounted in a short segment of air tube. Air is cooled as it passes over the bulb, resulting in a cooler, denser, more powerful intake air charge. Testing showed up to a 50°F reduction in intake air temperature.
