Wisconsin-Madison Takes 10th Place in Formula SAE


UWM Takes 10th Place Out of 80 Teams and Finishes 1st in Fuel Economy!

DEI Sponsored University of Wisconsin-Madison takes 10th places at Formula SAE eventOn the weekend of April 10th-12th at Michigan International Speedway, Wisconsin Racing again showed the world they are a top-tier team in the Formula SAE series. The weather, in rare occurrences, was beautiful with averages in the high 60's and a slight drizzle at the end of the day Saturday. This made for great racing and an enjoyable time for the team while they wrapped up a 10th place overall finish. Results for the top ten and the WR-212's placement for each event are listed below.

2nd Place - Karlsruhe Institute of Technology
3rd Place - Universitat Stuttgart
4th Place - Technical University of Munich
5th Place - University of Michigan – Ann Arbor
6th Place - Graz University of Technology
7th Place - Metropolia University of Applied Science
8th Place - Ecole De Technologie Superieure
9th Place - Friendrich Alexander University of Erlangen
10th Place - University of Wisconsin-­‐Madison
