Russell Morseman Racing UpdateLast two weekends of racing have been great.
The weekend before last we Started out the night with a bad draw (drew 42/50) Which started me 9th in my heat. I quickly drove up to third where i was running down the leaders but ran out of time and ended up 2nd . I redrew 12th for the feature and car was fast, I made it up to and finished 7th. It was an awesome night.

This past weekend we started out the night as usual with a bad draw (39/50). It was championship night at Woodhull Raceway. I started 7th in my heat and drove up to a hard earned 4th place finish which landed me a redraw for the feature. I redrew 8th. I quickly made it to 3rd place and was all over the front two cars but with a late race caution  my tires cooled down too much and I ended up losing two spots and finishing 5th. I am so excited for next season as I have the car running excellent and handling great and look to improve my shock package for next year and I will be right up from week in week out and contending for the championship. It's been great as I haven't finished outside the top ten the second half of the season and actually only finished out of the top 5 twice. I hope we can work together again in 2017 and look forward to promoting you guys again.

Russell Morseman Racing UpdateHad a great weekend of racing. I started out the night with a decent draw (drew 23/50), which started me 5th in my heat. I quickly drove up to third where I was running down the leaders but ran out of time and ended up 3rd.

I redrew 9th for the feature race and the car was strong again all night. I made it up to 3rd and was just about to pass for 2nd when a caution came out. I ended up finishing 3rd, missing 2nd by about 2 feet and first by a car length.

It was an awesome night and the car was very fast. It seems to be getting faster every time it hits the track. Thanks again for all your support couldn't do this without you.

Thanks,
Russ

Russell Morseman Racing UpdateHad a great weekend of racing. Started out the night with a bad redraw which I have gotten used to this year, drew 33/50, which started me next to last in my heat. I came from my 8th place started spot and quickly drove up to second where I was running down the leader but ran out of time and ended up with a strong 2nd place finish.

I redrew 6th for the feature and car was strong all night. I made it up to 3rd but got shuffled back as we were 4 wide for second place half the race and ended up finishing 5th. It was an awesome night and the car is very strong. I feel I got the right combo and gearing now its time to get the tire compound dialed in and it will be superfast. Thanks again for all your support couldn't do this without you guys and the wins are a coming very soon.

Thanks,
Russ

Hello May Motorsports Sponsors,

We are just checking in with our race weekend recap.  We competed this past weekend with the ISMA (International Super Modified Association) group for a two day event at Sandusky Speedway.  We were lucky the weather cooperated and we were able to get both shows in.  And what a show they were in front of a packed house with exciting racing, especially Saturday night.  It was great to be a fan this past weekend at Sandusky Speedway for sure!

Quick Topline Summary:
Friday Night 50 Laps:  Finished 12th (#7 Charlie Schultz) and 15th (#77 AJ Lesiecki)
Saturday Night 100 Laps:  Finished 10th (#77 AJ) and DNS due to motor issues (#7 Charlie)

The following are the official racing recaps from both days.
