DEI Heat Reflective Motorcycle Fuel Tank CoverAVON LAKE, OHIO (MAY 1, 2015) – DEI’s new Motorcycle Tank Cover™ reflects up to 90% of the sun’s heat away from the fuel tank to help keep fuel temperature stable.  Just as racers are known to use tire warmers to maintain tire temperatures between race sessions, in motorcycle racing it is equally important to maintain stable fuel temps for maximum horsepower.  Hot fuel greatly increases fuel pump stress and can cause vapor lock and most race fuel manufacturers recommend keeping fuel cool for maximum performance; especially important with the new oxygenated fuels.
